A rundown of what we're doing,
watching, reading, coveting.
Here's what's got our attention this week.

  • Listening to these awesome women on repeat these days.

  • Speaking of listening, my brilliant, talented + fun friend Erin Jang gave a talk at Google last month on design + the importance of play in your work. You can listen here!

  • In Louise’s pre-k class, there was a lot of talk about “filling your bucket” + filling someone else’s, inspired by this great book. It’s a phrase I still use with my kids all the time. “You really filled his bucket!” or “Do you think that maybe dipped his bucket?” I got a card in the mail the other day, and it was an instant bucket filler for me. I’m trying to be better at sending them myself, so I’m looking to stock up on ones with simple + encouraging greetings. Moglea has beautiful ones that are little pieces of art, sure to fill buckets everywhere, in case you’re looking.

  • We’re moving soon which has me slowly looking for all the essentials we’ll need with a bigger space. One thing is a crib for Major since the poor boy is still in a pack and play in our room ! This of course had me checking out Lewis’ favorite crib the IKEA SNIGLAR. As we always say: it’s so beautiful in it’s simplicity, and unmatched in its affordability ! This look however, was the first time I noticed the lifestyle picture of the crib in a parents’ bedroom. It really struck me as this beautiful representation of life. This recognition that most of the world can’t have separate nurseries, but here is how Ikea will look in your room. For what it’s worth, in all the room sharing Josh and I have done I’ve loved the addition of Lewis Crib Sheets as another patterned / color element to our room.

  • We just watched the first episode of Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding The Life of Bill Gates on Netflix this week, and I’m hooked.

  • Loving the branding + colors of this new baby pouch line.
