A rundown of what we're doing,
watching, reading, coveting.
Here's what's got our attention this week.

  • The Swedes and their enviable white wood floors! (And this color palette + high ceilings + natural light!)

  • Last year, we saw David Byrne when he came through Brooklyn on his world tour. That tour was such a massive success that it has now gone to Broadway, and as soon as we found out, we booked tickets. It’s called American Utopia. We went last night, and it was incredible. Part concert, part theatre and makes you so grateful for artistic expression. If you’re in New York, I’d highly recommend looking into it.

  • Googly eyes always make me laugh, so I'm loving the sugary kind, even when they’re supposed to be spooky. Available in sizes both big and small.

  • When I was visiting my mom this weekend she pulled a Dahl out of the freezer that she had made months back, and to my surprise both my kids devoured it, and continued to eat it all weekend. It was simple, and delicious and all veggies. It is from Naturally Nourished, a cookbook she says has been hit after hit for her. The author is from the Blog My New Roots, one I used to read religiously. This is definitely next on my purchase list.

  • I am always looking for activities that will occupy and engage India when we’re at home without a ton to do (especially as the temperature drops). I have a few go-tos like making cookies, simple bracelet beading, and separating pom poms with tongs I love this upgrade on the pom pom activity idea of creating something real !

  • Did you know that Zara launched a Maternity line this year ? It looks great, and this coat is looking especially cozy right now.
