Here's what's got our attention this week.

We’re planning on voting early this year to ease the pressure on Election Day. Get Out the Vote Moms has put together a comprehensive spreadsheet of voting options, listed by state. If you’re in New York like me, you have a nine day period to vote early starting on October 24–find out where to vote early by selecting your county here and then mark your calendar! Your vote counts!!
These are the nicest dog beds I’ve come across. Simple construction + really pretty colors. I wish I’d known about them before John went ahead and bought the opposite! Haha :)
I don’t usually love the contemporary American Girl dolls, but their new one, Courtney, is kind of amazing. She’s straight out of the 80s, and every little detail reminds me of my childhood. She has cute 80s clothes (white high tops!), Care Bear accessories, Lisa Frank-inspired school supplies, a boombox (with mix tapes!) and more. You can see it all here. Oh, to be a designer on this collection!!

Did you guys count down to Studio Mcgee’s second Threshold for Target release like I did ? I got some really cute things the first round (thanks to feeding Mathias in the middle of the night), so I was excited for this one ! Unfortunately I missed these chairs, this lamp, and this pendant, but I did score this coffee table, this rug for my front door, and I’m still eyeing this cube and this bench. Truth be told I saw some things in person that I didn’t love the quality / color of etc. So you certainly have to pick through, but there are some real gems in here !
If you can’t tell from above, we’re trying to pull our house together now that we’re moving in for the second time. Most of my internet searches involve some combination of the words rattan, woven, pretty, and cane. Here are some favorites I’ve come across recently :: this bench, this chair, this mirror, this waste basket, this chair, and these glasses. I could go on …
My little sister was visiting this week, and as she was watching Major tornado through our living room she repeated this Seinfeld quote she had read recently. Now all I can think about is how my life for the last 3ish years and probably the next 3ish, has never been so precisely stated.
