A rundown of what we’re doing, watching, reading, coveting.
Now every other Thursday. All linked here.

  • As I’ve said before, James is obsessed with dinosaurs. I should create a shared spreadsheet of all the dino things we’ve loved + used + learned from over the past couple years, because it’s extensive! Lately we’ve been enjoying this beautiful book. I love the watercolor illustrations and the simple well designed layout–a stark and welcome contrast to the usual ones. Of course we’ve also read this usual one a thousand times, and he loves it.

  • Last Easter, we dyed some eggs using natural plant dyes and they were so beautiful. I live for muddy colors! This year, I want to step it up a notch and try this craft idea which doesn’t seem too hard?! The blue ones are especially stunning, but it seems like you need to use “Swedish blueberries” - a smaller + darker (on the inside too) variety. Nonetheless, the results are so beautiful, I have to try!

  • Speaking of Easter, we’re having a flash sale on pajamas right now, just in time for Easter morning! Use code EASTERTREAT at checkout for 20% off! You can shop them in our special Easter Edit.

  • I was thrilled to just discover that my favorite workout class in NYC is doing virtual classes. First, I realize I’m late to this party and second, I realize virtual classes are not new. HOWEVER, it wasn’t until I took my first virtual Barry’s this week, that I found out they are ZOOM classes where they encourage you to put your camera on! I worked much harder than when I’m just staring at a screen and no one can see me. Major even joined me and the instructor was encouraging him :). This is definitely the way to go if you miss having jello legs after a good class.
