Here's what's got our attention this week.

We’re snacking all the time at home while working + schooling! I found this no-bake energy ball mix on Thrive Market a few weeks ago and love it. It takes very little effort (cue their tagline that sold me: “minutes to make”) and gives us all something sweet + nutrient-rich to reach for in between calls and classes. Next I want to try their Protein Bar Mix.

Have you heard of the Canadian furniture brand EQ3? I came across it while looking for a tall chest of drawers and was immediately drawn to their clean lines. We included this pretty dresser of theirs in our recent nursery roundup. I love their nice simple nightstand (some on sale right now) and mirror options (especially this one and free shipping!).

While I wouldn’t say that remote learning has been smooth, there are a few things we’ve done to help make it a little easier for all of us. We’ve been using some handled plastic bins to stay organized. These for folders + notebooks and these for the larger stuff like the ipad and miscellaneous supplies that need an all-in-one-place dumping ground. We use my favorite Command Hooks for hanging headphones on the wall (not at all necessary and yet helps feel like a “place”). And we got a couple dedicated heavy duty 6’ long cords. None of these things has quelled frustration or sadness, but I do think it’s given them a teeny tiny sense of place, even if it’s not the desired one.

I love the simplicity of this new needlepoint canvas company Loop Canvas (excited about the gingham coming soon), and especially love their kid’s canvases. I haven’t needlepointed in years, but I can see getting into this as an activity with India.

Is it bad that I’ve already moved on to soup and tea season ?? It’s in the 80s the next few days here, but a couple whispers of fall weather and I can’t help myself. I made this soup last week, and am excited to try this one this weekend.

I’m on the hunt for an inexpensive but pretty desk for my room, as working from home marches on. My top contenders right now are this, this, this, and although slightly more expensive, this and this.
