• It’s been a month since we had to put our sweet 13yr old dog down. The thought of her still makes me weepy. Just last night, Griffin started crying saying he missed her at our feet during dinner. It’s been so sad around here, but we’ve been so buoyed by the support + love from friends + family. A couple weeks ago, we received a card from the Arbor Day Foundation that a donation had been made by our animal hospital in honor of our dog. It was such an unexpected + lovely gesture, so I thought I’d pass it along in case anyone is looking for a way to honor a beloved pet.

• I love a good host gift ! And I hate when I don’t have ideas of what to bring someone. Last week I cobbled together a gift for friends we were staying with that I like enough to use on repeat! I put my favorite salt + pepper shakers (I have them too) in our exclusive Of a Kind tote, with amazing salt from my dear friend Karen’s line. To me this is really top tier of both beautiful + useful.

• I’ve become a little addicted to these pretzels. Be warned that they have a slightly funny cauliflower flavor (they’re not kidding!), but it’s strangely delicious and they’re extra crispy.

• Every time India wears this suit another mom comments on how genius it is that it has two snaps on the bottom. I didn’t realize it was unusual when I bought it, but I haven’t seen the same thing since. It was great for diaper changing when I bought it, and great for potty breaks from the pool now. Bonus is I bought it when she was just a year in 18-24 months, and she’s still wearing it !
