A rundown of what we're doing,
watching, reading, coveting.
Here's what's got our attention this week.
  • My end of day tv time is pretty TREASURED these days. Because, well you know. We recently wrapped up the final season of Curb (so good - go watch), and just finished the seven episodes of Tiger King. And ohhh my goodness, it’s so unbelievable. The show’s tagline says it all: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

  • Erin Boyle of Reading My Tea Leaves posted this granola recipe, and since I’d been out of my favorite store bought brand for too long (and somehow had most of the ingredients), I made it immediately. If you’ve ever been intimidated by making your own granola like I was, I assure you, it’s foolproof. I added chocolate chips to mine because why not. Delish!

  • I think it’s seasonal as well as situational, but I’m drawn to bright and bold color right now. Anything that feels bursting with life, I want to soak right up. This amazing craft-turned-decor project would be so fun. If your kids aren’t able to cut out shapes, you could do the cutting + have them place them. I love the idea of covering a whole wall or even a whole bathroom in brightly colored shapes.

  • Last weekend, Louise learned how to sew on my sewing machine, and she’s been super into it. She made little “bags” which she promptly filled with jelly beans. Together, we made two pillows (!) and this weekend, I’m finally going to dive into making some masks using the pattern Lingua Franca posted here. They’re offering to distribute any masks you make locally within nyc–just email them at info@linguafranca.nyc.

Hope you’re all hanging in there okay. Be safe, stay well.

    xoxo,

    Liz
