Louise recently discovered rollerblading, and she’s obsessed. We’ve let her rollerblade in the apartment and to even to school–wonky slab sidewalks and all. I am no skate expert, but these middle of the road rollerblades have been great for her and they can adjust to fit for a few more years!

We were so fortunate to interview doula and Birthsmarter founder, Ashley Brichter. She offers us insight into bonding with your baby and listening to your own new complex feelings. She also provides some amazing maternal mental health resources. There was so little online support when I was first pregnant 11 years ago, and I really could have used it! Bookmark this interview. Check out Birthsmarter. Please share with friends.

John makes pizza every Friday. It’s truly one of my favorite meals and evenings. But this weekend, we might need to change it up. Yum!!

Have you seen our Flash Memorial Day PJ sale ?? Summer mornings with the kids wandering around new places + friend’s yards while I sip coffee is a huge part of my summer memories since having kids. Major loves his “Enas” so much he often insists on wearing the top to school. Our Magnolia is the sweetest all over print to see on little bodies (I love it on Mathias!), and Parsnip on any of them is instant happiness. Use code SUMMERFUN for 20% off at checkout (long weekend only!).

I’ve been on the hunt for melamine plates to use on the deck and love all the blue and white ditsy floral I’m seeing. Caitlin Wilson has a few very pretty ones, but they’re all sold out. This set is also pretty cute and would look great with our magnolia tabletop pieces.

My whole block convenes in our shared driveway in the evenings and on weekends to let the kids run around and bike + scoot (we have 13 kids in the 6m - 5 yr range!). Without fail, Major asks our neighbors to bring out their stomp rocket, and without fail, everyone gets in on the fun. As days get longer it’s an easy one to have on hand to squeeze out a little more self-entertained toddler time.
