A rundown of what we're doing,
watching, reading, coveting.
Here's what's got our attention this week.

  • I love listening to podcasts. Sometimes, it motivates me to go out on a run, just so I can listen. Usually though, I listen while I’m commuting to work. There are only three episodes of Dolly Parton’s America so far, but I’m hooked. She is endearing, as you’d expect, and it’s fascinating to hear about her life, in her voice.

  • Last weekend, I was with friends I’ve known since First Grade! It was so nice to have the days to ourselves, lounge around, talk + laugh non-stop, cook together, enjoy wine + music. It was such an incredible treat that left me totally rejuvenated. Another treat for me was going to a non-city Target, sans kids! I somehow gathered my attention enough to focus on the few things I needed and a few things I didn’t know I needed: like this oven mitt, this candle, and these hydrangeas which are a pretty good fake! (I bought three stems, popped the leaves off, cut them short + put them in a favorite ceramic vase–so pretty!)

  • How pretty is this floral inspired collection by Liberty of London? They collaborated with 12 designers for this exclusive, limited-edition interiors collection, celebrating, subverting and reimagining classic blooms. I especially love the ceramic pieces and of course the insanely gorgeous quilts - omg. Even though I’d never call myself a ruffle person, the 80’s child in me can’t help but have a soft spot for the frilly heart pillows. Anything that uses Liberty prints will always call to me deeply.

  • I love this idea as a holiday gift ! Such a sweet and different way to document memories.

  • I heart Edward Norton, and this might be the first time (or at least the first time in a very long time) that I’ve heard him being interviewed. Hands down one of the best actors of our time, and he seems like a pretty great human too.

  • My new favorite Gluten-Free line. I’ve been gluten-free for almost 10 years (since Gluten was identified as the root of serious liver problems), and while gluten-free products cover every aisle of every store, it’s hard to find brands that aren’t filled with junk. Simple Mills has such simple wholesome ingredients and we’ve now tried a few of their crackers, their flat breads, and their brownie mix. All get an A+ from me and my not Gluten-free family (available at Whole Foods!).
