Interiors : Nursery Parts
For the last several months I have been working on a beach house in Harvey Cedars, New Jersey. Beach houses are so much fun because they are always lighthearted, airy, and require less heavy lifting than a primary residence (less clutter, easier function, basically designed for fun !). Plus the ocean changes my demeanor, and calls my name more than anything else, so designing with it in mind is doubly as fun.
Here I worked on a nursery, for a yet-to-be-born babe. We didn't know the sex, and so all design had to work for a boy or girl. I don't tend to design overly feminine or masculine anyway, so this piece is natural.
We are so happy with the result. As it turns out a little boy gets to have this room, and I hope he loves it for years to come ! Being that Liz and I first discovered the lack of well designed bedding when working on her nurseries, its now fun to design them with Lewis bedding incorporated... We love the Onion Crib Sheet | Marine here, but all of our Denim, Marine, and Moon Grey Crib Sheets would be great too !
