Gift Guide: Black-Owned Businesses

Painting ($15) - The sweetest 4”x4” or 4”x5” paintings that capture the female form beautifully. Art can be personal, but this handheld size makes it feel personal in all the right ways, and she also does commissions ! They only take three weeks and range from $20-$150. Plus, Liana is a teacher and a mama.

The Salty Heifer Cookies ($38) - This brooklyn based bakery will ship amazing baked goods to people you miss! Even better for the next two days (through the 18th), SEVENTY percent of her proceeds are being donated to Color of Change and United We Dream.

African-Print Fan ($25) - Proof that print can make the product. Send this to someone who could use the help keeping cool this summer.

All-Natural Waffle Mix ($10) - A couple years ago, a dear friend gave us (Liz) a waffle maker. I don’t even like waffles, but this friend was determined to show me how wrong I was. Fast forward to quarantine when all the appliances were dusted off. The waffle maker is being used multiple times a week now. This will be a welcomed upgrade from our usual bulk mix that’s almost out!

Prosecco Candle ($38) - This smells incredible. It’s packaged in a beautiful white box, so if you’re gifting in person, you could just add a bow. It should also be noted that these candles come with lids, which is a nice touch since candles can be very fragrant even when not in use.

Scrunchie ($20) - Made from the beautiful handwoven fabrics that lemlem is known for.

Hand Towel ($45) - Handwoven cotton towel that is both soft and super absorbent.

Browne State Wines ($45) - Send wine from the first Black-owned estate winery in Napa Valley. Plenty of varietals to choose from with free shipping over $75.
